Two of the most important things in my life. Scarlett Jo, my service dog, and Alexandra Rose, my sister. I really liked this picture because Scarlett Jo is ALWAYS sitting by or around or on my sister and my sister is always hugging her and helping me with her. So I was glad I was finally able to get their closeness on camera.

Weird things that Scarlett Jo does.
Lick my foot like it’s a teach. Really. It’s weird. She will sit there for like 15 minutes licking my foot leaning into it.
Think she’s a small dog and tries to get on the back of the couch.
Chew on the house. The literal house.
Talks to the tv/watches tv.
When she has an itch on her neck or stomach…she itches air. Never actually the neck/stomach …just ….air.
Is in love with my brothers best friend/family friend. No seriously. She has a dog/human in-love crush on this guy. Not even joking.
Oh yeah and, she thinks us holding our recycle trash can/taking it out to empty it in the big recycle is a game. She runs around so excited growling and grunting at it. All we have to do is stand in the middle and she goes beserk, play bowing and jumping around panting and excited. Glad she thinks it’s a game…it’s just a little weird lol
It is 3:22AM so it’s officially now Wednesday, meaning it’s Ash Wednesday. This means the start of lent, not to sure what I’m going to do for lent yet. But yes, I’m Catholic, yes I believe in Jesus and in God, and in Saints, yes I have a Pope, and Bishops, and churches. And YES I’m CHRISTIAN.
There are two sides of this. We have the Christians who, probably are the same Christians who bash on homosexuality, and atheist, and anything different. They say Catholics aren’t Christian. Well, we are. We were the FIRST Christians thank you very much. I also believe in the Devil. I believe that God does what he can but with free will that he gave us, there is only so much he can do. The Devil doesn’t bind by these rules. So instead of always saying “why did God do this to me” think, “How much worse could the Devil have made it without God around?”
THAT being said. I would like to say, that just because I’m Christian does NOT mean I support any sort of bashing or disapproval of homosexuality or not believe in what I believe. It is not MY place to ever JUDGE anyone, ever. I believe in living life as a real Christian. Someone who loves and cares and tries to be a friend and support anyone and everyone who needs it. I believe in forgiveness and kindness, morality and values. I believe in love and friendship. I believe that God is ever forgiving and loving and he has a place for EVERYONE and everything happens for a reason. I DON’T believe God would damn someone for being who they ARE. I believe that if you’re a moral person, no matter your beliefs, you will go to your ‘heaven’. I believe in science and that science and God CAN co-exist. and yes, I will say it again, everything happens for a reason, and I don’t believe God makes mistakes. And by that I DON’T mean “well if you’re suppose to be a guy, you would have been BORN a guy.” Maybe, there was something that you would have only been able to gain as a girl and this is why you had to be born a girl, then later be a guy. WHO KNOWS. Only God.
Jesus died for our sins, this is what Lent is about, remembering his journey from the last supper to his rising on Easter. Wait. Let me say that again. HE DIED. FOR. OUR. SINS. So to tell someone they are going to go to hell, because they LOVE someone just because it’s the same GENDER? This is not what Jesus and God stand for or died for. And who even says loving someone IS a sin. Or being who you ARE is a sin? If someone has a sex change, or loves someone of the same gender, this is not a sin. Why, because that is how you interrupted it from the Bible? the Bible is a very very old book, written by MAN not God. It has been through translations and kings who wanted people to believe what he believed in. Now, that doesn’t say I don’t use the Bible as a guide and something to read and look for guidance in, but that’s just it. Guidance. One passage can mean 5 different things 5 different times depending on mood and what’s happening in life. Take it as a guidance, not “Gods one and final word”.
So to recap, I am Catholic, I am Christian. But I am not a bigot. And for all my friends who aren’t religious or who are gay or transsexual or transgender or love robots. There is NOTHING wrong with you. And please know, not all Christians are bigot assholes. I’m not <3.
As always, after my long rant, never ever EVER stop living, dreaming or fighting.
Soo, a few days ago Scarlett was able to get a hold of my phone and puncture the back button. (The only part NOT protected by a 2 layer protective case). My dad was able to fix it, unfortunately my dog seems to think that this cell phone is her favorite toy. Aside from my socks that is. And because of this, she grabbed it in the one moment I forgot my phone was not on my person, and she punctured the screen. So now the entire left side of my touch screen doesn’t work. I am on a 80% reliance of auto-correct =(!! I love this dog I do, and I ultimately don’t blame her, she’s a puppy, she’s a rottweiler and rottie’s LOVE to chew. And I had left it where she could get it. Sadly, right now that’s anywhere she can reach on her hind legs. (Working on that now, the ‘leave it’ and no counter surfing..).
HOWEVER, because she did this to my poor phone, I can’t use my ‘e’ ‘s’ ‘3’ ‘w’ or ‘.’ AND I can’t use my camera. =/ So, for the time being most pictures will either be old, or…none at all. I’ll still try and keep you all updated on mine and Scarlett’s life.
